be a sweetie

Prior to spending three weeks at Webb School as an artist in resident, I collected images of graffiti from local schools, restaurants, bars, and public restrooms in Austin.  This was then intimately translated onto the interior walls of the artificial bathroom stall created for the Webb Gallery.  The images were projected onto fabric and embroidered by hand.

I was really interested in creating a new space in the gallery that the children (age 5-18) could relate to and enter.
